Robert(Bob) Thieleが George Douglasという名義で作ったベトナム戦争への反戦歌。ルイ・アームストロングが歌って、世界的なヒットになりました。私が2006年に初めて英語の歌を日本語に訳したのがこの曲でもあります。この歌詞に籠められた、普段の何気ない日常、豊かな自然、新しい命が生まれて時代が巡る事の大切さは、いつの時代でも決して色褪せないと思います。そして、ウクライナ戦争が起きた時に、ウクライナの復興支援アルバムとして発売した『ひまわり Loss Of Love』のエンディング曲として、ハッピーエンドになるべくレコーディングしました。私は歌の力は無限大と思います。この歌の持つ、何気ない日常の壊れる事のない様に幸せに生活できる毎日が来るようにと願っています。

An anti-Vietnam War song written by Robert (Bob) Thiele under the name George Douglas. It was sung by Louis Armstrong and became a worldwide hit. This is also the first time I translated an English song into Japanese in 2006. I think that the importance of ordinary everyday life, rich nature, and the birth of new life and the passage of time will never fade in these lyrics. Then, when the Ukrainian War broke out, I recorded it as the ending song of "Sunflower Loss Of Love", which was released as an album to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, so that it would have a happy ending. I think the power of singing is endless. I hope that every day will come when you can live happily so that the casual daily life of this song will not be broken.
